Join CAOC in bushwacking thorns! Come out to our Forest Give Back Day!

Training, tools, and snacks will be provided. What to bring: Wear long sleeves and pants, closed-toe shoes, and water. Take precautions against ticks. The forest preserve will have tools and gloves, although you may bring your own tools / gloves if you like, but no power tools.

The ranger will have the service drive for the outdoor education campground opened at 9:45 am. The gate will be closed again at 10 when we head to the worksite, so please be there before 10, otherwise parking may be very limited.

Please sign up by May 19th so that we can provide a head-count and have enough food on hand. Please e-mail with any questions. Click here for registration.

Directions:
Take I-55 (Stevenson Expwy) southwest of the Loop 19 miles. Take exit 273A and go south on Cass Ave past the Argonne National Labs park and day care center. Continue as the road turns left and changes from Cass Ave into Bluff Rd. Turn in at the forest preserve entrance on the right (south).
