The 2007 Sprint Championship wrapped-up a summer full of Wednesday evening races put on by the hard-working CAOC volunteers.
It featured new maps by a new mapper of Adler & Butler Lake Parks in Libertyville. Special thanks go out to
The Village of Libertyville and our Parks District for allowing us to host the races here.
About 50 folks participated; some in groups, some just to enjoy the beautiful (if humid) weather and some there to win
the championship. Local favorites were surprised by the arrival of an age group U.S. Long Champion from St. Louis and winner of
our Curse of the Goat race earlier this Spring. Would he take another local crown out of state?
