Details:
Hilly and forested, this should be a fun event. We will be starting at the regular spot off Flavin/ Willow Springs Rd. The courses will be normal white, green and red with the exception that the yellow and orange will be combined. The meet will not start earlier than 10:00 am, closer to 10:15.

This is a Picnic!! The CAOC club will be providing hotdogs, chips and pop for all interested, starting around noon. The club will also provide a grill and coals. You bring stuff for the grill for you and your drinks and then please bring a salad, side or dessert to share. Kick back to enjoy the company of your fellow Chicago O club members after your race. You never know who you might meet or what you might eat. Don't forget frisbees, bocce balls, and cards. You might also want a bring a change of shoes and socks and maybe some dry clothes.

Public Transportation:
The #379 Pace bus leaves Midway Airport at 10:45 am. Get off at 87th street and 88th ave. Walk west about 2 miles on 87th and through the forest preserve to the start. 87th ends before Flavin Road, so you'll have to take trails to the start location. This will be a good navigation exercise for you.

Directions:
From the city, take I-55 (Stevenson Expressway) 13 miles southwest of the loop. Exit at LaGrange Road (aka US 45, Exit 279A), and go south 1.7 miles to Archer Ave. Take Archer Avenue southwest (right) for 1.6 miles and turn south (left) on Flavin Rd. (This is across the street from Willow Springs Rd.) Go up the hill and take a left into the first forest preserve entrance. Watch for red and white orienteering signs to direct you to the registration area.
