Note From Race Director:
We had a great day for the race. Conditions were tough, but it
was a little warmer than last year!! There was a foot of snow blanketing
the park, with drifts in areas up to 3 feet. I'm pretty sure I found
all of them when I was setting up. The course was shorter than intended
because of the conditions, but so far no one has complained. The
winning team still took 4 hours to clear the course. This year almost
half of the teams cleared the course in 4 hours to 5 hr 45 min.
The sun helped stave off the cold, and even though we started the
day with below zero temps, it became a heat have and almost reached
30 degrees!!
Thank you to all who helped tear down and clean up: Frank, Sandy,
Bob, Jeff...Couldn't do it without you!
