No Event
June 28th
or July 12th

NOTE: Some web-based event calendars are showing a CAOC orienteering meet in Miami Woods in Morton Grove on Sat. June 28th. Unfortunately, we do not have any such event scheduled this year. (July 12th is also a non-event.) Our next event is the Canoe-O on July 27th in Busse Woods. We apologize for any misunderstanding.

Next Event:
Canoe-O and Sprints
Busse Woods
July 27, 2008

Start practicing your paddling! The annual Canoe-O is coming the last Sunday in July. You are welcome and encouraged to bring your own canoe or kayak. As in the past, we will be offering canoe rentals. E-punch will be used, so expect to cross the lake more than once on the long course! Additional details and pre-registration will be available after the July 4th holiday weekend.

About Orienteering

Everyone is welcome. No experience, no special clothes, and no competitive instinct are required. You do not have to run when orienteering—many experienced orienteers walk the course. But competitive running is also welcome. First-time orienteers are especially welcome—we will help you get started.

If you have questions about orienteering or need help finding the event location, e-mail the club secretary at secretary@chicago-orienteering.org.
